Accrington Town Hall is a stunning Grade II Listed Building located in the heart of East Lancashire. Following an exquisite refurbishment, this historic venue offers a range of beautiful spaces perfect for weddings, events, and special occasions.
From the elegant Ballroom to versatile function rooms, Accrington Town Hall provides the ideal setting for your celebration or event, blending timeless charm with modern amenities.
The Venue
Dating back to 1858, the ballroom has undergone a respectful restoration, preserving its striking original features while updating its facilities for modern events. It can host up to 350 guests in theatre style, or 240 for weddings and events serving a three-course dinner.
The multi-functional space boasts a fully sprung dancefloor—one of only two in the North West, alongside Blackpool’s Tower Ballroom. With excellent acoustics and a state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor lighting scheme, the revamped ballroom is now serviced by a new bar located behind the stage.
Accrington Town Hall has completed its refurbishment, unveiling new ground-floor features, including The Vintage and Acorn Suites. These beautifully designed suites are perfect for medium-sized events or intimate weddings, with the added convenience of a new ground-floor bar accessible from both suites.
