A few weeks ago we asked our customers to fill out a questionnaire and the response and feedback was amazing! We have taken your most asked questions and compiled them below along with our answer. Thank you to everyone who has supported our charitable trust, and we hope to open our doors very soon to get our community back into fitness!

Most asked questions:

  • When will the pool be open and what measures will be put in place?
  • Swim England and HSE guidelines will be adhered to for everyone’s safety, updates will be shared as soon as the government releases them.
  • What do I do if I can’t book onto the reduced size classes?
  • Additional areas have been utilised to accommodate bookings.
  • Will you be hosting outdoor classes to accommodate more people?
  • We are hosting classes following the government guidelines, these will be reviewed due to popularity & demand.
  • Will there be a reduced first month fee, or compensation due to not having full access to the facilities?
  • No customers will lose out on any pre-paid fees, all memberships will be adjusted for either their Direct Debit start date or time added.
  • For people who don’t feel safe to return straight away, how long can memberships continue to be frozen for?
  • Dependant on the open date a further extension date will be agreed.
  • Which memberships have been chosen to return when you open?
  • Energise from 14 years, Lifestyle, Premier, Aqua and Ladies Only Feelgood.
  • Will the thermal suite & changing rooms be available to use?
  • The thermal suite will remain closed until further notice, changing room will be restricted following safety guidelines.
  • Will I get my money’s worth out of my membership?
  • We value our members experience and have worked hard to reopen with additional areas for Gym & Classes and the opening of the Pool. Fitness programmes & PT sessions will be available to be delivered in line with the government safety guidelines.
  • Do I have to book classes in advance?
  • Yes, we are asking members to pre-register bookings at www.hyndburnleisure.co.uk – If you encounter any technical issues, please email memberships@hyndburnleisure.co.uk please state your full name membership no and date of birth
  • Will equipment be routinely cleaned or is it up to customers to clean?
  • We are in this together, cleaning of all equipment will be routinely cleaned by staff and members are asked to clean down after their use.
