You may feel your weight is an issue and unsure what you can do about it. Weight Management is a self-referral programme which is open to anyone 16 years and over. Daytime and evening classes are available.

We know that losing weight can be hard. Whether you’ve been advised to lose weight to improve your health, or just want to feel better about yourself, the Up and Active team in East Lancashire can help you achieve your weight loss goals.
Refer yourself to our 12 week programme, you will receive a 12 week gym membership, entitling you to go swimming, use the gym, and try out exercise classes both with your local leisure provider and across East Lancashire as part of the Active Network. You’ll also attend our weekly weight management sessions.
Our structured 12 week programme includes:

Inactive and need an introduction to physical activity? This programme is for anyone who is inactive and wants to increase their physical activity.
